So I've been tackling an engine rebuild and am running through the lifters that came out of the engine. A little more than half of them are OEM, the rest are kind of weird, buckets have a welded lower cup ring? Then you pop the guts out and the disk is made completely different. Ok, big Question, I saw on the disk that the oiling holes were enlarged by someone from factory. Is this something we would want to do? will this increase oiling or will it kill pressure allowing the lifter to settle and not stay pumped up? Opinions needed. thanks

One of the different/Aftermarket didn't live up to the smack method of dis-assembly.
